Italian Decameron Font – Pasolini Movie Typography

Pier Paolo Pasolini was a film director and one of the greatest Marxist intellectuals of the 20th Century. Unfortunately, his violent murder stopped a brilliant genre of Italian films, which depict human pleasure mixed with cynicism. His biography and films are explained in this dedicated website.

For one of his movies, Il Decamerone, I consolidated the typography of an Italian movie poster and named the font Decameron. A variant style of NeoBaroque typefaces.
