Sorbus Black Font – New Horror Film Typography

Sorbus Black is a new commercial horror font that I designed inspired in the tales of American writer Edgar Allan Poe, one of my favorite story tellers.

A great bedtime story is Poe’s Metzengerstein, in which he explains metempsychosis and an old witch prophecy that says, ‘a lofty name shall have a fearful fall when, as the rider over his horse, the mortality of Metzengerstein shall triumph over the immortality of Berlifitzing’.

The font is suitable for horror films posters and screen titles should you want to license my new font. Below is the alphabet image and a 3D composite. For further inquiries, contact darkvotum at gmail. Thanks.
