Googie Heavy Font – American Space Age Typography

Googie Heavy font is a new commercial font for my client portfolio. It is a reinterpretation of the lettering used in the Googie style architecture I’ve seen in Los Angeles.

The font was originated in Southern California and it was popular during the period late 1940 – mid 1960 in theatres, restaurants, coffee shops, bowling alleys and even classic car wash businesses. To read more about the Googie style, click the Wikipedia link.

Below is the image I’ve prepared with the alphabet and a 3D composite if you want to license my original font. It is a great font for distinctive greeting cards and unique posters. Contact darkvotum at gmail.
