Kahlo Regular Font – Mexican Day of the Dead Typography

During Mexican Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos), there are two themes that are very popular in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Skulls themes and Frida Kahlo’s portraits. Don’t ask me why but it has been the normal trend for the last twenty years among California residents. If you’re visiting Los Angeles, you can attend a great celebration at the historic Hollywood Forever cemetery. This year will be the 11th Annual Dia de Los Muertos, on October 2, 2010.

To make my contribution, I made this special commercial font for Frida Kahlo as part of my Mexican foundry collection and a unique Frida Kahlo t-shirt with my commercial font available in the Witches section. Below you can find the images for your consideration. Happy Day of the Dead with sugar skull bread!
