Matamoros Condensed Font – Mexican Gangster Typography

I finally completed the Mexican commercial font Matamoros Condensed for my client portfolio. The original font was used in the title of the movie Mexican Gangster directed by Damian Chapa (2008).

The name Matamoros comes from a small town in the border of USA-Mexico and it is a very appropriate name because it is the roughest town I know with real Mexican gangsters. Corruption is the law of the town. Regarding the typeface style, the condensed weight of the font seems to match well Mexican themes (although some people think that the Jokerman font is a Mexican ornamental typeface). Ouch!

Here’s the image I prepared with the commercial font should you want to license this font or commission professional work for your movie presentations. Se habla Español también. Thanks.
